Golden City Shipwreck When Wrecked: 13 July 1866

Ship 779 tons. Built in New York 1852, she was wrecked at Lady Elliot Island while loading guano for London. Her previous voyage was (most probably) London to New Zealand with immgrants. She was wrecked in possibly the same place as the Bolton Abbey.
