Schooner 97 tons, built in San Francisco 1854, Bound for Rockhampton from Maryborough with a cargo of timber, seh was wrecked on Polmaise reef (or Masthead Island reef). Her Port of Registry was Sydney 32/1865. The Pioneer was a regular coasting schooner during the 1860s.
