Centaur Shipwreck

When Wrecked: 14 May 1943

Location: Southern

She was a Motor vessel, built in Grennock and was converted to a hospital ship in 1943. On her way north from Sydney, the vessel was torpedoed and sank without warning. There were 332  persons on board and of these, 64 survived.
